Through sheer force of will, and the favor of an otherworldly patron, Warlocks bend magic to their whim to summon eldritch blasts, clouds of poison, and more. Between their subclasses, Warlocks can achieve a wider variety of playstyles than any other class in Baldur's Gate 3. They can become a spell blade through Pact of the Blade, a utility caster through Pact of the Tome, and a summoner through Pact of the Chain.

All warlocks still have a few drawbacks no matter your choice, but all weaknesses can be supplemented through good equipment. Head into Baldur’s Gate, and find the best items to wreak havoc on your foes. When all else fails, cast Eldritch Blast.

15 Duellist’s Prerogative

Adds A Reaction If Offhand Is Free

Where To Get This Item

• Obtainable in Act 3.
• To get it, you have to rescue Vanra from the Hag.

This is a sword for the Warlocks choosing the Pact of the Blade subclass. Warlocks don't usually have proficiency with Rapier, but when you make a weapon bound to your pact, you get proficiency to use it. On a side note, it's good for Wyll either way, since he gets Rapier proficiency from being a noble.

The Duellist’s Prerogative is a legendary Rapier with a plus three enchantment, making you hit more and deal more damage. You deal necrotic damage with your attacks, and you can use your reaction to do a little extra. The most powerful features enable you to make an extra attack if you keep your offhand empty.

14 Markoheshkir

Boosts Spell Attacks & Save DC

Where To Get This Item:

• It is obtainable in Act 3.
• The staff is located in Ramazinth’s tower in the Globe of Invulnerability.

Warlocks cast spells, which means Markoheshkir is on their wishlist. No other staff can do what this one can, and its biggest drawback is that it's one of a kind. It boosts your spell attack and save DC by one, making you a better caster. Full stop.

13 Birthright

Charisma is the main stat for Warlocks, and they use it to cast spells (and to make weapon attacks if you’re a Pact of the Blade Warlock). Raising your charisma also improves your social stats in Baldur’s Gate. Normally, you use ability score improvements to get the stat to 20 and leave it at that.

With the Birthright hat, you can raise your Charisma past the cap to 22. This is the only way to achieve that unless you use mods.

12 Potent Robe

Adds Charisma Modifier To Damage Of Cantrips

• Alfira gives you the robe if you rescue the tieflings.

The Potent Robe is especially good for warlocks and their iconic Eldritch Blast. The robe’s main feature lets you add your Charisma modifier to the damage of Cantrips. This does stack with Agonizing Blast.

These two features combined can have each of your Eldritch Blasts deal 1d10+10 damage. At level 10, you’ll be able to fire three rays per cast, and you expend nothing more than an action. You also gain temporary hit points at the start of every turn.

11 The Protecty Sparkswall

+1 To Spell Saving DCs

• Found in Gilded Chest in Grymforge

The Protecty Sparkswall grants the wearer a +1 to Spell Saving DCs. Considering Spell Saving DCs will allow you to save yourself against an enemy's spells.

Additionally, if you have Lightning Charges, you get +1 AC and +1 to all Saving Throws. This can be extremely beneficial to ensure that you don't die in tough situations.

10 Cloak Of The Weave

The Cloak of the Weave is the only cloak to offer a bonus to your spellcasting. It boosts your spell abilities by one, so you’ll hit more often and enemies will fail their spell saves more frequently. For Warlock builds, if you’re going a hybrid route of martial and casting, making this your cloak is good to free up other item slots.

The cloak also grants a casting of Absorb Elements. You can use your reaction to halve the damage from an elemental source.

9 Shifting Corpus Ring

The Daredevil Gloves turn any spell you cast in melee into a melee attack. This is great for any spell that makes an attack roll, but it makes Warlocks especially versatile. The Gloves’ secondary effect also increases your spell attack hit rolls by one.

7 Infernal Rapier

6 Robe Of Supreme Defense

Saving Throws are vital to any character playing the game as they are the way that you can avoid being hit by the enemy. This means that having additional Saving Throw Modifiers is so important.

Additionally, the higher the AC you have, the more difficult you are to hit. Since this robe gives you additional help with both of these, it is vital to ensure you don't die easily.

5 Disintegrating Night Walkers

Positioning is key for all spellcasters. If you can’t reach your target, you’re not hitting them with your spells. One of the best ways to get around spatial limitations is through Misty Step’s teleport. While Warlocks can learn the spell, sacrificing one of your few spell slots on a spell that doesn’t gain improvements for upcasting is very inefficient.

Instead, the Disintegrating Night Walkers can let you cast Misty Step once per short rest. You’re also immune to being enwebbed, entangled, or ensnared, and you won’t slip on any hazards.

4 Infernal Robe

Grants The Warm Spell & Fire Resistance

The Infernal Robe is, without a doubt, the best robe you can obtain early in the game. There are no other robes that can compete with it.

You will be given the bonus Fire Shield, which will give you the Spell Warm. You will also obtain a resistance to Fire. The only downside is that most players will never get this item.

3 Spell Savant Amulet
