Jenna Ortega is adding another role to her iconic resume as she is set to star in an upcoming rom-com alongside her 'Wednesday' co-star.
The 21-year-old, who is known for her roles in 'You,' 'Scream,' 'Wednesday,' and 'Beetlejuice,' will now enter the romantic comedy genre as she's been tapped to star in ‘Winter Spring Summer or Fall.'

‘Winter Spring Summer or Fall’
According to Variety,Jenna Ortega and her 'Wednesday' co-star, Percy Hynes White, will star in this "sweet teen love story about a Harvard-bound girl genius and a laid-back guy who find each other in their final year of high school."
Marisol Nichols, and Adam Rodriguez will also star.
The film will be directed by Tiffany Paulsen, written by Dan Schoffer, and produced by Brad Krevoy, Josh Shader, and David Wulf.

Fans Hope Percy Hynes White's Love Interest Is Jenna Ortega
White teased the film in December 2022, “The movie I’m doing in Utah right now is with her [Jenna] as well,” he told Popternative, adding that he and Ortega had “a fun time together” on the set of 'Wednesday‘ and that he “loves” working with the actress.
After hearing the news, fans “hope that Percy’s character is the love interest of Jenna’s character."
'Winter Spring Summer or Fall' is rumored to be released in the summer of 2024.

Percy Hynes White Accused Of Sexual Misconduct
Last year, the 'Wednesday' star was accused of sexual misconduct and assault. The allegations came from a since-deleted Twitter thread. The actor denied the rumors, claiming that people had used “underage photos” of him and “examples of me acting in character."
“There’s something I need to clarify. Earlier this year, somebody I’ve never met started a campaign of misinformation about me online. Because of this, my family has been doxed, and my friends have received death threats,” he said, per Variety, in June 2023 following the allegations. “The rumors are false. I can’t accept the portrayal of me as someone bigoted, or criminally negligent of people’s safety.”

He added, “These are the kind of baseless, harmful claims that can create mistrust toward victims. I’m really thankful for everyone who’s stood by me and helped share the facts. Harassment of my family, friends, and coworkers needs to stop, please. Thank you for taking the time to read this.”

Jenna Ortega On Her Dark Sense Of Humor
As part of Variety Fair's 2024 Hollywood issue, Jenna Ortega admitted that many people think she is just like her character, Wednesday Addams, in real life.
“I know, I get it all the time,” she told the magazine. “I’ve always been pretty dry, but it’s so funny because now anytime I do an interview I could be so happy, and it’s always just that one portion of a quick joke that I make, or a dry ‘whatever,’ and then it’s all I’m known for.”
"I just remember when that whole process went down, it was super quick, last-minute. I guess they had been searching for a while. And Netflix sought me out specifically," she said of the 'Wednesday' casting. "I didn’t know that my name was even being thrown out or anything like that. I just got an email one day saying, 'Hey, Tim Burton really wants to meet with you tomorrow for this job.' "
She added, "It really was just Tim and I speaking, and me not really understanding the magnitude of the project or what it could be. I was just excited to be meeting Tim."

Jenna Ortega Talks 'Wednesday' Season Two
Following the record-breaking views 'Wednesday' received on Netflix after its release, the show quickly decided to move forward with a second season.
While many details have been kept under wraps, Ortega teased, "I’ve just been reading scripts. By the time we actually start shooting, it will have been over two years since we wrapped. So internally, mentally, I’m like, 'Okay, do I start prepping myself now?' "
"I don’t consider myself Method or anything like that, but I do think it’s very normal for actors to naturally acclimate or take in the surroundings of their characters, especially when you’re doing something like that for so long," she continued. "It might be time to start getting a little more sarcastic again or watching different movies again to get into the mindset. But even reading scripts has been exciting, seeing all of the new characters that are coming in. We’re definitely expanding on the supernatural world."
"Our show had all sorts of werewolves and vampires and da-ta-da. And I think we expand on that a little bit," she concluded.
