Is my medical information safe on MySaintAls?
We take great care to ensure your health information is kept private and secure. Access to information is controlled through a secure invitation process, personal IDs and passwords. Each person controls his or her own password, and the account cannot be accessed without that password. Furthermore, MySaintAls uses the latest 128-bit SSL encryption technology with no caching to automatically encrypt your session with MySaintAls.
How do I sign up?
Patients who wish to participate will be issued an invitation during their clinic or hospital visit. To create the invitation, we will ask you to provide your email address. A valid picture ID is required to verify your identity. This invitation will be emailed to you and will enable you create your own user name, password, and set-up your security questions. Patients can now register online using a paperless PIN process in addition to being sent an invitation through email.

Who is Cerner?
Saint Alphonsus has chosen Cerner to power our electronic health record. By using Cerner to also power the MySaintAls web portal, you can be assured that your health information stays within the secure Cerner system.
Can I view a family member's online health record?
With permission, you can now access the health information of a loved one in order to help manage their care. Both you and your proxy must have a new MySaintAls account and then establish your proxy relationship.
- To create a new account you must:
- Verify your identity by entering your legal first name, legal last name and date of birth.
- Verify your email address and set up a username and password.
- Select three security questions. Be sure to supply answers that are not easy for others to guess or discover.
- If your first name, last name, and date of birth used for registration matches an existing patient record, a screen will prompt you to send a PIN to your phone. Enter this PIN on-line to verify your identity and link your record with your account.
- Once your identity is verified, you'll be able to access your patient record.
- Once you have created your MySaintAls account, you can establish a proxy relationship:
- To grant access to another adult as proxy, obtain the proxy's MySaintAls user ID.
- Log into your MySaintAls account and go to the proxy dashboard.
- Select the Grant Proxy Access button. Enter the Proxy’s user ID and submit.
- This will send a notification to the Proxy.
- The Proxy will log into their MySaintAls account, go to the Proxy Dashboard and accept this request.
- If each person has a record, you can toggle between records in the top right hand corner of the screen.
Can I have access to my child’s Health Information?
Electronic access to a minor's health information will not be available following the migration to the new identity authentication system. Previously, a parent/guardian could have access to their child's information up to 12 years of age. You will not be able to re-register as proxy to those minor accounts. We do not yet have a date when that will become available again but you would still be able to receive copies of your minor's health information by completing the Request for Access to Health Information In a Designated Record Set through the Health Information Management Department.
